Book Summary
This series is about the Walker family – Ryal, Quinn, and Meg.
This one is Meg’s story.
And it’s also about Lincoln Fox.
They were high school sweethearts. But that was before he was wrongfully convicted of his father’s murder when he was only a teenager.
And before he took off.
Now he’s back.
He’s back and he’s determined to find out who killed his father and why.
Not only because he wants his name cleared but also because his father came to him in a near-death experience and told him to go find answers.
So he heads back to Rebel Ridge not telling anyone that he’s coming. It helps that Lincoln is now really tall and no one really recognizes him.
He didn’t expect to find Meg single and actually available.
And neither of them expected to come together to deal with a stalker that is plaguing Meg.
When he saves her from an icy storm, all he can do is be honest. And because of that encounter, they decide that they want to be in each other’s lives.
Now you need to know that Meg never thought that Lincoln killed his father. She always believed that he was innocent. She was in love with him.
As they get to know each other again, they have to solve both of their issues. As they get to know each other again, they both know that they want a future together, something that they dreamed of before.
So the story is both. Finding out who killed his father. And finding out who is stalking Meg.
They team up and while getting to know each other as adults, and learning to love again, they find out tons of details that help them to not only solve the murder but find out who was stalking Meg.
And they find out that their love never died.
Okay, so a ton more happens to make the story interesting and intriguing.
Please note that the villians in the story are unsavory characters so there are parts of the storyline that show how depraved and terrible they are. So the storyline follows that type of thinking, that type of perspective.
And because this author is quite talented at this type of nefarious characters, you really see and feel the villian’s perspective.
You also need to know that Sharon Sala does get a bit detailed in the love scenes. Not rated R but maybe PG-13!!! They don’t overpower the plot line, but they are there and are a little detailed. you can skip over then if necessary.
This book is well-written with a great storyline. All the characters in this series are awesome and you learn to love them as you go thru their series. This whole series is worth reading.
