Book Series Summary

Thunder Point is this wonderful little town right on the coast of Oregon. The characters are friendly and normal.  Each of the books takes on a vital person in the community.  The little beachfront cafe that is fixed up in book 1 becomes a focal point for the community.

This series has a similar feel to the Virgin River Series.  While some authors make a point to write with spine tingling adventure or drool worthy love scenes, RC has given us plain ol’ normal.

These stories are about life.

Life can be mind-numbing normal but sometimes it’s nice to be able to read that it is okay with normal.

Each story is very connected to the one before.  You find out what has happened to the previous main characters.  She does a marvelous job interweaving all characters while adding new ones.  What RC does do is sell books 1-3, 4-6 and 7-9 together as trilogies within the series.

The sensuality level for this whole series is very low.

Book 1, The Wanderer, is mostly about Cooper and Sarah.  But it’s also about the town of Thunder Point and the people there.

Book 2, The Newcomer, brings us more about Roger “Mac” McCain and Gina James.

Book 3, The Hero, adds in Devon McAllister and Spencer Lawson.

Book 4, The Chance, has Eric Gentry and Laine Carrington getting together.

Book 5, The Promise, is where Scott Grant finally gets his story.  When Peyton Lacoumette comes to town, he knows he’s sunk!!

Book 6, The Homecoming, is about Seth Sileski and Iris McKinley.

Book 7, One Wish, is all about Grace Dillon and Troy Headly.

Book 8, A New Hope, is about Ginger Dysart and Matt Lacoumette.

Book 9, Wildest Dreams, brings us two brand new characters, Blake Smiley and Lin Su Simmons.

Books 7, 8 and 9 follow really close together in events and timeframe.

And as you can see from the book covers, they’re a trilogy within the book series.
