Jake is a vet. After going to school, he chose to come back to the ranch to be the in-house vet for the ranch.
Meg Stanford lives on the neighboring ranch. She’s come home to settle her late father’s affairs. Despite being estranged with her father, she comes to close things up.
But she finds things not quite right. There’s also trouble that comes looking for her.
She is also instramental in solving the disappearance of their mother that left when they were all young.
That’s a sad story in and of itself.
