Book Series Summary
The Bachelors of Blueberry Cove by Donna Kauffman is a wonderful book series about the delightful community of Blueberry Cove, where everyone who knows everything about everyone.
This is really a feel-good series. Each book can stand on its own, but it’s fun to see how the community changes with each new story.
What’s even more fun is that this series is closely connected to the Brides of Blueberry Cove.
Her descriptions make you love the place. Her emotionally filled encounters with the main characters make you want to be a part of their lives.
I would give the sensuality level a medium-low. She is descriptive, but not crude. Her love scenes fit with the story line but don’t overpower the story.
Her story lines are complex and interesting. She has the astounding ability to make her descriptions take page after page. So the descriptions of the place or the person are detailed and in-depth. You get a strong feel for who that person is or what they are thinking.

This story is all about friends that become family, the good and the annoying. It’s about learning to be a part of the community and coming to peace with your own demons, with the help of your new family.
This book series is similar to Robyn Carr’s Virgin River Series and Catherine Anderson’s Mystic Creek Series.

Book 2, Half Moon Harbor, brings us Grace Maddox’s and Brodie Monaghan’s story.
Book 3, Sandpiper Island, is about Grace’s brother Ford Maddox and Delia O’Reilly. When her livelihood is challenged, he steps in to help her get her footing!
This series also leads into the Brides of Blueberry Cove Series which is all about Logan’s sisters.
